On an island called Dirty Docks there lived a talking shark called Stephen. He was very suave in his red sunglasses and he was able to travel on land on his skateboard, which has an ‘S’ for Stephen on it! Stephen had a big smile and he spoke with a deep, macho Australian accent! All the lady fish loved him, but all the male fish were terrified. Especially as his catchphrases were ‘I’m coming to get you’ and ‘Delicious!’
One day, a hunter was sailing along in the ocean when he spotted Stephen swimming along. He got out his enormous gun and aimed it at Stephen. All the other fish saw the man’s gun and shrieked with fear! They looked at Stephen, who looked at the hunter’s big gun and gulped. But then he had an idea…
Stephen stopped swimming, rolled over on his back and lay perfectly still. ‘Oh,’ the hunter sighed. ‘That shark’s already dead. Well there’s no fun in shooting him now!’ and he threw his gun down on the deck and sped off into the distance. When the noise of the boat had gone, Stephen rolled back over and he and all the other fish in the sea laughed long and hard at Stephen’s clever escape!
